Slack Wax is a semi-refined petroleum product produced during the solvent dewaxing of lubricating oil. It consists of a mixture of oil and paraffin wax hydrocarbons, making it an important raw material for multiple industries. Depending on the oil content, Slack Wax can be further refined into paraffin wax or used directly in manufacturing processes.

Oil Content Grades

Slack Wax is available in different oil content ranges to meet industrial requirements:

Low Oil Content (5–10%)
- Commonly used as feedstock for paraffin wax production.
Medium Oil Content (10–20%)
- Suitable for rubber processing, emulsions, and polishes.
High Oil Content (20–30% and above)
- Applied in candle making, chipboard pressing, and match production.
